Regency Commercial Insurance Brokers are members of both the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) and Brokerbility.

Brokerbility is a select group of 35 independent insurance brokers in the UK, set up in 2006. It is made up of professional high quality independent brokers who are successful and well established in their own right in their area. They have been brought together to become one of the most influential broking groups in the country, and combine the best elements of being an independent broker with with market clout of a national broker.

It provides the brokers in the group the support so they can offer “first class insurance products supported by bespoke customer service solutions.” Brokerbility support their members to make them stronger independent brokers in the business sections they cover, keeping the personal service aspect of a small company with the preferential premiums that national brokers can command.

All brokers are carefully selected and invited to be members only after proving their individual success in their own Company, including providing tailored solutions for clients, demonstrating quality customer service, maintaining and enhancing their marketplace reputation, and having continued and sustained growth, using ethical practices and treating the customer fairly.

The members of Brokerbility share best practice within the industry and control together over £464 million in premiums. Regency Brokers were invited to join this select group, which expects the Company to deliver on results and generate new business. A recent forum at Norwich Union’s Head Office gave a chance to meet other company representatives and discuss improvements, problems and solutions in the industry, enabling members of the group to service their clients’ needs in the best possible way.

Brokerbility wants to expand into European healthcare over the next year, and if the project works it will be opened up to all 35 members. The success of Brokerbility is shown by the large number of companies who choose to place their business with the carefully selected members.

Brokers face increasing challenges in the present economic climate – they need to adapt to survive, and Brokerbility may show the way forward.
